- Respond to inquiries and prepare proposals
- Schedule and deliver consulting and training services
- Create and manage Platform accounts, issue certificates, and (for Company accounts) provide Administrators with reporting on their organization’s Employee sign-in activity and course progress
- Process payments through our payment processor
- Communicate about accounts, including password resets and Platform updates
- Improve Website and Platform functionality and analyze traffic
- Maintain security and protect against fraud or misuse
- Comply with legal obligations and protect Vera Pro’s legal rights Vera Pro does not sell personal information to third parties and does not use account information for third-party advertising.

The Website and Platform may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, analyze traffic, and improve performance and security. Categories of cookies may include:

5.1 Within a Company Account
A Company Administrator can view sign-in history, module progress, quiz scores, and certificates for Employees enrolled under that Company’s account. Employees should be aware that this information is visible to their organization’s designated Administrator(s) as part of the Platform’s team-reporting functionality.
5.2 Service Providers
We share information with trusted service providers strictly as needed to operate our business and the Platform, currently including Stripe, Inc. (payment processing), Supabase, Inc. (database hosting and storage), and Resend, Inc. (transactional email delivery, such as certificate and account emails). Service providers are expected to maintain appropriate safeguards for the information they receive.
5.3 Legal Requirements
We may disclose information if required by law, or in a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect the rights or safety of Vera Pro or others, or investigate potential violations.
5.4 Business Transfers
Information may be transferred in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business.
5.5 With Your Consent
We may share information for other purposes with your consent.
6. AI-ASSISTED FEATURES & DATA
If the Platform’s AI-assisted tutor feature is enabled, questions and inputs you submit to it may be processed by a third- party AI service provider in order to generate a response grounded in Course content. You should not submit confidential, proprietary, or personally identifiable information — including protected health information — to the AI tutor. AI-generated responses are for educational assistance only and may be incomplete or inaccurate.
7. DATA RETENTION & DELETION
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide requested services, maintain business records, verify certificates, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. As general guidance (subject to counsel’s confirmation): Platform account and progress data is retained while an account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter for certificate verification and legal compliance; inquiry and proposal information is retained for a limited period after the last interaction. Information no longer required is securely deleted or destroyed in accordance with applicable law. To request deletion or ask about our retention practices, contact consult@veraprohns.com. We will evaluate and respond to verified requests within the timeframe required by applicable law.
8. DATA SECURITY
Vera Pro implements commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Account and progress data is stored using industry-standard hosting infrastructure (currently Supabase, built on PostgreSQL), with password hashing and encrypted transmission. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and Vera Pro cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. DATA BREACH NOTIFICATION
In the event of a data breach that compromises the security, confidentiality, or integrity of personal information, Vera Pro will investigate promptly, take reasonable steps to contain and remediate the incident, and notify affected individuals and, where required, applicable regulators or authorities, without undue delay and in accordance with applicable data-breach notification laws.
11. STATE PRIVACY RIGHTS
Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional rights under state privacy laws. For example, California residents (under the CCPA/CPRA) may have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used and shared; request access, correction, or deletion; opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (note: Vera Pro does not sell personal information); and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws (such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and others) may have comparable rights. 12. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
The Website and Platform are intended for business professionals and organizations. The Platform is not directed to, nor knowingly used by, individuals under the age of eighteen (18), and Vera Pro does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of thirteen (13). If Vera Pro becomes aware that personal information has been collected from a child contrary to applicable law, reasonable steps will be taken to delete such information.
